"Behind the horizon goes to school" in Finsterwalde

The Udo Lindenberg Foundation's current project in Finsterwalde has been running since the beginning of 2023. Four schools from the singer's town are involved. They created their own version of the cult musical "Hinterm Horizont". They are supported by Elisabeth Engstler, Noah Fischer and Arno Köster.

The idea: The Udo Lindenberg Foundation has developed a project for young people from socially deprived schools. Historical topics such as the "Cold War", the GDR and dictatorship, but also a better understanding of democracy and culture are developed. Previous musical or acting experience played no role. Those who didn't want to go on stage found a suitable job in the background. After all, stage construction, make-up, technology and accompanying media also play a key role. Working together on this topic promotes respectful interaction, meaningfulness and hope. And that ... should be encouraged!
