Already in November 2011 we could open an education centre in Trivandrum of which the construction was significantly financed by our foundation. At this education centre computer related skills and skilled trades are taught. We asked ourselves the question, what will happen with the children when they come of age. The orphanage is particularly designed for underage children.
Currently Father José is negotiating about a property owned by the church adjoining St. John´s Hospital. On this property we want to build a block of flats consisting of 6 to 8 accommodation units for orphans of age. The actual building costs are estimated at 6.000,00 €. For the construction of the block of flats “Ray of Hope” our foundation will take care of the maintenance. For this we presented Father José with the first instalment of 2.000,00 €, during our excursion to the Berlin television tower. The joy was great, now that there is again a ray of hope for the orphaned and infected children.
